Any client who has had a previous permanent makeup procedure other than with An Ultimate You must have in writing from the prior permanent makeup artist the brand, color and the manufacture date of the pigment that was implanted. Absolutely no exceptions.
What is permanent makeup? Essentially it is tattooing of eyebrow, eyeliner and lip makeup. Also known as permanent cosmetcs, micropigmentation, intradermal pigmentation or cosmetic tattooing. Othe procedures include areola repigmentation and skin camouflage.
Is it really permanent? Yes, like any other tattoo, fading can occur overtime, but the implanted pigment stays in the skin forever. touch up appointments will be needed every few years to keep it looking fresh. Lifestyle, aging process, sun exposure can speed up the fading process, but good aftercare can help maintain it as long as possible.

Does it hurt? Although everyone’s tolerance to pain is highly individual, the application of permanent makeup can involve some minor discomfort. An Ultimate You always uses a variety of topical anesthetics to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Make sure you inform your technician of any allergy to anesthetics you may have.
Is the procedure safe? Yes, at An Ultimate You, we practice standard precautions as set forth by the CDC. Each needle is sterile, individually packaged and opened in front of you. Any non-disposable equipment that is used is covered with a nonporous plastic covering to protect against cross contamination. Gowns and gloves are worn, and good handwashing techniques are utilizednmnm.
In addition prior to any permanent makeup procedure you decide to have with An Ultimate You, you will be asked to complete a pre-procedure questionnaire which will help us determine if you are a suitable candidate. Your total safety and comfort are our upmost concern.
Are the pigments safe? Pigments used in permanent cosmetics have an extensive record of safety.
How long does a procedure take ? This varies according to the procedure being done, eyebrows and lips usually take 2 to 2 1/2 hours including the time for anesthesizing. Eyeliners can generally been done in half that time for either upper or lower.
Can I change it? Remember this is permanent cosmetics. You may be able to change the color and shape slightly but bold changes will not be able to be done. You might want to consider a more natural looking permament makeup procedure, then when you want a more bolder look for a special occasion you can easily spice it up with tradtional makeup. You can have the best of both worlds always looking your best and beautiful!
Is it easy to remove? No, there are various methods, e.g. laser, saline removal or some topical applications, but sometimes they do no always get all the implanted pigment out. They can be costly because of multiple treatments necessary. And sometimes removal of lip colors can end up with dark lips from the laser treatments.
Is permanent makeup right for you? Do you like to save time and money, and always looks great? Would you like to have a more enhanced youthful appearance? Then permanent makeup by An Ultimate You may just be what you need.
Others potential candidates may include patients undergoing chemotherapy and/or suffering from hairloss, have hands that may be too shaky to apply makeup, have multiple allergies to cosmetics, had breast surgery, or suffer from vitiligo, or other physical condition that interferes with the daily application of makeup. Do Nouveau lashes damage the natural lash? No, Nouveau lashes do not damage the natural lash unless incorrect after care takes place. The natural lash will not be damaged unless they are pulled out deliberately with the Nouveau Lashes attached to them.
Is Nouveau Lashes appllication painful? Not at all, in fact it is considered one of the most relaxing beauty treatments available today. You are required to lay down with your eyes shut for about 2 hours. When you open your eyes you will have long, naturally curved, beautiful lashes.
Are Nouveau Lashes suitable for everyone? No, Not if you are a low maintenance girl or guy with hardly any spare time nor are they suitable for clients with no existing eyelashes. In addition if you are one of the compulsive eye lash pullers these are not for you.
How long will Nouveau Lashes take? A full set of lashes takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs depending on the amount of lashes applied. The Maintenance procedure usually takes about 1/2 to 1 hour.
How long do Nouveau Lashes last? The average life cycle of a single natural lash is 90 days. The maximum time Nouveau Lashes last is 2 months, however it is not unusual for clients to loose a lash extension if it is placed on an old lash.
Why do you have to have maintenance? Some Nouveau Lash extension will begin to fall out at the end of the 2nd week. This is why you need to have maintenance every 2-3 weeks if you want your Nouveau Lash extensions to last and look fabulous. Very similar to maintaining artificial nails.
Are Nouveau Lashes adhesives safe? Nouveau Contour have ordorless medical grade adhesive for sensitive eyes plus it does not come in contact with the skin or the eye. The lashes are attached directly to your own lashes not touching the skin. Paper tape is used to hold down the bottom lashes so let your An Ultimate You technician know if you have any allergies to adhesives. (Most clients can tolerate paper tape.)
